Grain Production

Since 2005, Rokit Science has developed the PMS (Production Management System) for AACL

This system is the operations hub for AACL's Grain co-production projects and manages and models the enormous amount of data in the contracting process between investor and grower. Many thousands of load tickets are accessed live from CBH's Loadnet grower portal and are allocated to grower contracts with grain values being updated instantly. Investor unit allocations are also processed through the system.

Hundreds of thousands of tonnes are processed by this system at harvest time, massively improving data management in this growing organisation.

Grain Exporting

In the last 12 months, Rokit Science has developed integrated tools to enable a local grain exporting firm to better manage logistics in the shipping process. By linking into existing portals, we have been able to acheive tighter handling times, thus reducing costs to the wharf.

Currently, we are implementing a packing system to streamline production and eliminate excess documentation and errors.

Trade Services

Recently Rokit Science took over implementation of an in-house job management system for a plastering contracting firm that manages several teams of sub-contractors. In addition to bringing the system to launch, we integrated the job management client to read and write both existing and new customer and job data to their MYOB premier installation.

This eliminates card duplication and allows the client to retain a perfectly suitable accounting system but backended by a custom operations system.

GIS based Planning Tools

Agro Forestry / Carbon trading

Rokit Science has just finished the initial phase of our Plantation Management System, which allows users to capture planting areas from either aerial photography or DGPS capture in the field.

Design tools are then provided to create planting schemes for belts and rows. After selected reference lines, the planting plans are automatically generated, including belts, rows and individual trees.

Soil and water map layers can be intersected with the planting scheme to update each belt section and allow for tree by tree variations in production.
